Lexmark Z82 works under Windows 2000 in both USB and Parallel mode with the recently released drivers. Please note that on headless Windows 2000 Servers that USB installation messages and the printer control program appear only on the console. Compatiblity Note 1: On the same box I had a Diamond SupraMax USB modem and the two devices appear to conflict. I have not yet done further testing.

Had to have driver disk posted. Downloadable driver omits Scan program. A lot of trouble to install. I recommend using the Add/remove hardware wizard to view hidden devices and uninstall any "USB device" entry if having trouble. W2000 detected a new usb device when it was switched off so I switch off at the socket now. Logically it is a USB hub with a USB scanner and a USB printer attached. The driver disk has a confusing bundle of directories.

1) Phoned Lexmark, they said they will not create drivers for the printer, due to it mainly being used by large corporations
